The Guard Dog Pro will INSTANTLY set the hook on the very first strike! Made out of solid 6061-T6 "Aircraft grade" aluminum, it's lightweight, rustproof, and made in the USA! The Guard Dog Pro will work on most fishing rods with standard size rod tip eyes, (minimum inside diameter rod tip eye size 1/4"), and it will work on most rods up to 14 ft long.
There's up to an 90% hookup ratio when you put a Guard Dog on duty... Even if you actually miss seeing the fish strike!

The new Guard Dog Pro II model is now available! The Guard Dog Pro II was designed to work great with fishing rods that have a "smaller rod tip eye", (minimum inside diameter rod tip eye size 3/16"). The Guard Dog Pro II model has the same patent pending "fully adjustable trigger sensitivity system" as on the Guard Dog Pro, and they will INSTANTLY set the hook on the very first strike! The Pro II model will work well on most rods under 10 ft in length. So, if you are fishing with rods with a smaller rod tip eye, the Guard Dog Pro II was made for you!
